Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to clients who access Rentolab and book rental products or services offered by independent merchants through the platform.

1. Introduction & Company Description

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the access to and use of the Rentolab platform, including its website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

Rentolab is an online booking platform that connects customers ("Clients") with independent rental service providers ("Merchants") offering items such as tables, chairs, event equipment, and other rental-related products and services. Rentolab does not own, operate, or manage the rental items listed on the Platform. Rentolab acts solely as a facilitator and intermediary between Clients and Merchants.

Rentolab Booking Services is a company incorporated in the Philippines, with its office located at Lot 1 Block 35 Boppard Street, Pasig, Mercedes Executive Village.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, and each time you use the Services, you expressly confirm that:

  • You have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions;
  • You have read, understand, and agree with these Terms including Rentolab's Privacy Policy.
  • You will comply with these Terms at all times;
  • You are of legal age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
  • If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you have full authority to bind such organization to these Terms.

3. Amendments to Terms

Rentolab reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be effective once posted on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. Payments & Booking

  • Clients must pay the required down payment based on the Merchant's stated policy.
  • Down payments are non-refundable in case of cancellation.
  • Down payments shall only be refunded if the merchant cancels the booking due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances beyond the merchant's control.
  • Security deposits, if applicable, will be refunded according to the Merchant's policy, subject to inspection of returned items.
  • Bookings are considered confirmed only after payment is received and verified.
  • Clients may request additional items in accordance with the merchant's policy regarding the allowable time frame prior to the delivery date. All additional requests are subject to item availability and merchant approval. An additional down payment is required to confirm any added items.
  • Rentolab is not liable for refunds, disputes, or disagreements between Clients and Merchants.

5. Items, Use, and Responsibility

  • Clients must inspect items upon delivery and ensure they are complete and in good condition.
  • Any missing or damaged items upon delivery must be reported immediately to the Merchant with supporting photo or video evidence.
  • Clients are responsible for returning items in the same condition as received.
  • Any lost, damaged, or excessively soiled items will be charged to the Client based on the Merchant's pricing and policies.
  • Rentolab is not responsible for damages, losses, or disputes arising from item usage.

6. Delivery, Setup, and Venue Conditions

  • Additional fees may apply for venues with stairs, no elevators, difficult access, long carrying distances, or special setup requirements.
  • Such fees will be based on the Merchant's quoted price range and must be shouldered by the Client.
  • Clients are responsible for securing venue access permits, parking permissions, and ensuring safe delivery conditions.

7. Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • Rescheduling requests are subject to Merchant approval and may result in forfeiture of down payment, depending on the Merchant's policy.
  • Last-minute cancellations may incur additional charges based on preparation, delivery, or reserved inventory.
