Client Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to clients who access Rentolab and book rental products or services offered by independent merchants through the platform.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Rentolab website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
Rentolab is an online booking platform that connects customers ("Clients") with independent rental service providers ("Merchants") offering tables, chairs, event equipment, and other rental-related products and services. Rentolab acts solely as a facilitator and intermediary and does not own or manage the listed rental items.
Rentolab Booking Services is incorporated in the Philippines with an office address at Lot 1 Block 35 Boppard Street, Mercedes Executive Village, Pasig City.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Platform, Clients confirm that they:
- Have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Rentolab's Privacy Policy.
- Are of legal age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and Platform policies.
Rentolab's Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and used. Clients who do not agree to these Terms must discontinue use of the Platform.
3. Payments & Bookings
- Clients must pay the required down payment based on the Merchant's policy.
- Bookings are confirmed only after payment has been received and verified.
- Clients may request additional items, subject to Merchant approval and item availability.
- Additional down payments may be required for added items.
- Rentolab is not liable for disputes, refunds, or disagreements between Clients and Merchants.
4. Use of Rental Items
- Clients must inspect items upon delivery or receipt.
- Any missing or damaged items must be reported immediately with photo or video evidence.
- Clients are responsible for returning items in the same condition as received, subject to reasonable use.
- Lost, damaged, or excessively dirty items may incur replacement or penalty charges based on Merchant policies.
- Rentolab is not responsible for damages or losses arising from the use of rental items.
5. Rescheduling & Cancellation
- Rescheduling requests are subject to Merchant approval.
- Cancellation policies follow the applicable Merchant's stated policies.
- Down payments are non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rentolab is not liable for:
- Losses or damages arising from rental usage.
- Event cancellations or failures.
- Disputes between Clients and Merchants.
- Indirect or consequential damages.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
